The mayor of behemothtown released new information for the PS3 release of Castle Crashers, this is a the implementation of team up in the arena mode, this means you will be able to team up with friends in a 2-4vs battles against teams of 1 to 4 players.

I can see many xbox 360 owners complain “wai wai… wai not on the 360z?!” but take in mind they decided to rewrite the code for the playstation 3 release allowing them to include new things the code for the 360 cant, and unless they decide (oh please guys be my guest, do eet!) to rewrite the code for the 360 version only the Playstation 3 owners will enjoy these new features.

Here’s the new video released by the behemoth, for more pictures and information head to their developers blog.. enjoy!

Wallace & Gromit – Fright of the Bumblebees (XBLA Demo review)

Posted by: Cybermario @ 10:59 pm Share in Facebook Tweet This

Wallace and Grommit has been delighting us for a time with their funny and entertainment movies along the years and now is their turn to do it on the Xbox 360, will they succeed? this is a review of the Demo “Wallace and Gromit – Fright of the Bumblebees”, the first in a 4 chapter adventure Telltale Games brings to Xbox Live Arcade.

At first you have to go throught a tutorial to learn how you will interact with the world of Wallace and Gromit, it is a shame you cannot skip the tutorial as you may want to start having fun with the game instead of losing time with a (let’s face it) boring tutorial specially as a grown up, then again remember the game is mainly for a younger audience and this may have been a boo boo by the developers.

The game is a sort of point and click genre (something i’d like to see more, like in zack and wiki for example) and is a good change from the huge amount of FPS’s out there, you dont play as Wallace or Gromit but as a 3rd person interacting with them, guiding our friends in the right direction to make the game events and story advance, is like watching an interactive movie and this it’s fun for fans and kids alike.

Will gromit save Wallace? oh the suspense! D:

The game have some flaws, camera angles are one of them.. sometimes moving Wallace in a wrong direction may make us return or go to a different area when we want do something else in the place we are at, if minor, it can be annoying from time to time.

another downside is you cant die, literally you cant die..! if you are not sure of the next action or object needed to continue with the game turn into a trial and error chore, as the game is aimed for a younger audience this may not be as bad as it sounds but in my opinion take out the challenge factor from the game, something even kids will feel dissapointed (as a kid wasnt you proud to beat a level that made you sweat bullets for days?)

some people may find some pixelated details here and there and is not something you can let slip easy with the current generation of consoles but taking in mind it is an Arcade title developers may not have taken proper care or time into that but is nothing to make you have a bad experience in-game.

Overall, “Wallace and Gromit – Fright of the Bumblebees” is a funny and entertainment game for kids (or parents wanting to share time with their kids) and die hard fans of the movies and i will recommend it only if you are one these two cases, if you are a hardcore gamer searching for a challenge the game definitely it’s NOT for you, thanks for reading and keep gaming!

Cyborg Grandpa-G – By OBATA Takeshi

Posted by: Cybermario @ 5:22 am Share in Facebook Tweet This

Welcome to the world of Cyborg Jiichan-G (also known as Cyborg Grandpa-G) meet Tokijirou Kaizou, a brilliant scientist that decided to turm himself into a cyborg to take care of his plot of land and farm vegetables (yes he turned himself into a cyborg to be a farmer)
Serialized in the year 1989 in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine for a total of 4 volumes, the art is not outstanding or out of the ordinary but it’s a very hiralious manga which make it something enjoyable for the reader.

Cyborg Grandpa G Cover

If you liked mangas such as Doctor Slump (by Akira Toriyama) you will love Cyborg Grandpa-G a lot, it contains that kind of wacky humor and crazy characters!

G-Chan

brilliant scientist, decided to turn himself into a 2000 horsepower cyborg to take care of his plot, his dream is to have the whole family converted into cyborg farmers (something the family is against) he often improve tools or vehicles that by a twist of fate always end in the hand of villains as massive destruction weapons and is up to G-Chan to stop his own creations.

FX: GON (he did hit his head)

G-Chan’s Family

They dont make much appareances but as secondary characters except for G-Chan Grandsons Kei Kizou (11) and Ai Kaizou (14) that end turning into delinquent kids result of traumatic experiences with G-Chan (something he dont realize and wonders why they end like that).

Gantetsu

G-Chan’s grandson desire to have a dog and after an argue with his parents G-Chan presents him his own Cyborg dog with 1000 horse power and match 5 speed, Gantetsu!

(likes to drink tea and steal G-Chan car for a ride)

Sharekoube

Evil dreadful scientist working as a professor in a girl’s school until 5pm and by night he plots to conquer the world, nemesis of G-Chan and also want to turn himself into a cyborg.

His grandson is on love with Ai Kaizou which lead to some funny situations, his grandson is also a scientist.

G-Chan arch rival and evil scientist

Cyborg Hunter Z

A new enemy appears as G-Chan head’s have a price, this new enemy is a cyborg hunter with deadly attacks and special armor, and armor made or kitchen tools!
Eh ends as G-Chan apprentice and want G-Chan to turn him into a cyborg, he now lives in the Dog’s house (Gantetsu).

Q-Chan

She is the late wife of Tokijirou Kaizou (G-Chan) and he decided to bring her back to life as a cyborg, G-Chan saved her brain with preserved food in the freezer for 10 years, G-Chan’s family are in shock as they remember her to be a nasty old hag..

What could be...

G-Chan’s planned to revive her as a beautiful maiden in her ealy 20′s (she actually looks like the tv idol G-Chan likes) but there was an accident and the result was an old version of her with amazing heavy metal powers and one of the worst attitudes ever…

.. ended in a tremendous heavy metal disaster!

This but a sample of what you can find in the manga, there are more characters, parodies and stuffim sure you will enjoy, i highly recommend this manga if you want have a delightful and entertainment reading.

Cya and happy reading!~

Castle Crashers PS3 Update!!

Posted by: Cybermario @ 4:45 am Share in Facebook Tweet This

Yes friends we got news from the Mayor of Behemothtown, and is an update for the new Castle Crashers coming soon for the PS3 later this year, in this new update they show us a video of the new volleyball mini game exclusively for the PS3 version, this replace the “All you can Quaff” mini game from the Xbox 360 version (lucky PS3 owners, they got a better mini game)

Also the addition of new trophies not found in the Xbox 360 version such as “Social Networker” which replace “Glork” from All you can Quaff and a new trophy for beating Insane Mode which certainly will enourage some fans out there to level up their characters and party with friends.

Screen of the new Volleyball mini game

At this time i dont know if the Alien Hominid Knight can be unlocked in the PS3 version of the game, as you may know you unlock the Alien Knight by having at least one Alien Hominid HD achievement in the Xbox 360, hoping to hear something from The Behemoth about this and when i do be sure i will have it in the blog for you to read.

If you want to take a look to some screens and the volleyball gameplay video head over to The Behemoth Development Blog, until next time and keep gaming!
