Review: Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

Making its debut this generation, Ace Combat returns after almost 12 years since its last numbered entry. As much as the series has evolved over 4 generations of consoles, the core gameplay has been the same since the beginning. It is not a simulator, it's an arcade flying game with amazing story, direction and plenty of replayability. Let's take a deeper look into this gem and how it compares to its predecessors.

Review: Heavy Fire: Red Shadow

A fixed position arcade shooter, Red Shadow is a new entry in the Heavy Fire franchise. Although previous games in the series were rail shooters, this one is a 360° shooting gallery with optional VR.

Review: Downward Spiral – Horus Station

A game made for VR but also playable in normal screens. Space Stations are a very common setting for VR games, each of these games with their own personal twist. In Horus Station, you are the only living person remaining inside a huge station and you must survive by repairing each of the work modules while evading attacks from drones. Gravity here is disabled and you must move by grabbing surfaces and pushing away and towards where you want to move.

Review: Vroom Kaboom

Vroom Kaboom combines cardgame mechanics, vehicular combat, and tower defense genres into a single multiplayer online experience. The end result: chaotic destruction and a high skill ceiling, also playable in VR.
