Xbox 360 April’s Update and Datel dispute

Hello gaming lovers, as most of you know microsoft released a mandatory update today, this allow us to use usb flash drives to store media such as game saves, arcade games and more for a total of 16gb, if not what many hoped it is a great addition and a good feature for our consoles but i believe this is contradictory to Microsoft and their recent update to ensure 3rd party memory units will not be used in the Xbox 360.

It is a good move against pirated memory cards (which i encourage) but not 3rd party memory cards like Datel, and the most recent dispute versus Datel generic control pads make me think it is all related to some degree, cant be dennied.. the similarity of the “TurboFire” and “WildFire” models to the original Xbox 360 control pads is extreme, and from there Microsoft’s lawsuit but my big concern and complain is the bad use of the turbo fire feature in these Datel control pads which is awful.

for old consoles without online capabilites having a little boost in your games was fun and sometimes helpful to beat a level or 2 but in today’s gaming with a big amount of players going into multiplayer how are these control pads with turbo fair at all?
sadly this has been buy vicodin mexico pharmacy ignored by the developers from game companies (sales over fair play? yeah i think so), and i have to side with Microsoft on this as i dont find fair at all as a legit player you spend time to learn and practice in a game to be good at it to face someone with a turbo fire button killing you in seconds while you wonder “ok.. he killed me with 2 BR shots how is that possible?!” it is when you are but a cheater

example of Datel’s turbofire in action

Hate to give this lame player hits but i lexapro buy online india dont cheat on multiplayer so i cant make a video to demonstrate myself, on the bright side CHEERS to Microsoft for giving us (even if it’s not what we hoped for) the chance to carry our files in USB flash drives, for that i salute you! until next time and keep dreaming!

  1. nvr heard of any turbo fire button… major sucky. i was pretty sure they was game delay built in to stop just any 10yo button basher winning (all games but street fighter-ish ones) games with reload and what not add realism. i understand that some sad people choice to measure their life through achievements but ive long ago learnt its not possible for me, un-rewarding, empty, shallow, boring with the added low-lifeness (e.g avatar airbender you can unlock 1000points all in training mode get a hit chain of xxx numbers and boom 1000pts. i borrowed the game played proper story mode and got whatever points i have now in 15mins by which time i thought the game was boring and not worth playing, not even for points.) i borrowed it from 2 friends who did just achievement-whore it. im not saying getting 1000pts in a game is a bad hollow thing, in some games where its a challenge (complete on normal, legendary etc or a “tick box” e.g finished act 1, act 2, collect 100 fireflies, play 100 skip cards) but a game thats just based on hit combo’s that you can achieve in training mode?!=whoreing
    enough ramble 😉
USB is great news. fine they cap it at 16gig (afterall they want to keep selling their bigger HD) and its a case of keep it with xbox or keep it on storage device and hope it doesnt somehow corrupt/die on you… also they need to keep doing this to spur on their music/movie/game on demand market.

  3. The USB feature is just oh so great, let me tell you. It truly could not have come at a better time, as I’ll be getting a new 360 next week, I really needed a way to transfer my content, and 8GB’s has been plenty big enough for what I have. With the rapid fire crap, yea… I really wish there was a way to stop it, but the thing is, even if Microsoft wins out in the lawsuit, there are still jerks out there with the controllers. So I can continue to be upset when I go 1v1 swords, and still get out-sworded. Boo-urns.
